Vertical Axis Turbine |
 These turbines have blades that go from top to bottom. The blades are vertical but swivel around a vertical support. The turbines are made from galvanised steel and consist of a 3.6kw turbine with a tower and inverter.
With these turbines, the wind turns the turbine and generates wild ac (alternating current) which is then converted to DC (direct current) and then into controlled AC synchronised with the house AC. These turbines have a height of 14m which is he maximum height allowed without planning (ROI).
