Gasification Combined Heat and Power,or CHP as it is more commonly referred to,is the use of the gasification process to simultaneously generate usable heat and power (usually in the form of electricity) in a single power.

Workings

• Wood gas is cleaned in an ESP system

• Wood gas runs an otto-cycle gas engine-generator

• Heat from engine flue gas is captured in a heat recovery boiler with additional heat from gas cleaning sustem and engine cooling

• Gas production plants and the engine generator with heat recovery are are delivered in two 40ft containers 

• 1 MW of gas to produce up to 350 kW electricity
