Newry, Northern Ireland

To date Kedco has spent approximately £6.1 million on the construction of the plant in Newry. Facilities include a construction facility of £7.49 million, of which £4 million will be made available to complete an initial 2MW of generation capacity. The remaining £3.49 million will be made available on the successful commissioning of the 2MW plant. Once commissioned the plant is expected to generate 29 million kW hours / kWh per annum of renewable energy to the electricity grid in Northern Ireland.
